Piercings of tongue and lips

Piercing does not feel so hip when it causes infection and pain. Yes, indeed we can get infection from piercing our tongues and lips. They can also harm our teeth especially if they are made out of metal. They also carry the potential of causing allergic reactions. Tongue is a vascular organ consisting of nerves and blood vessels which may be permanently damaged as a result of piercing. Piercing artifacts can potentially interfere with x-rays as they can superimpose on our teeth and prevent the dentist from reading the pictures accurately.
